Unfortunately, we do not have a 'brick and mortar' store for customers to
visit. We operate from an office and a warehouse and it is against our insurance policy to have it open to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Why are your prices higher then "X" store in the US?
This is mostly due to the exchange rate and import taxes. If you, in Canada, were to buy the same item from the US, you would also incur duties charges. However, it would be much more as you would pay tax at the retail price; we are charged by the wholesale cost.
I'm uncomfortable placing my credit card information online. Is it safe?
We realize that many people are uncomfortable ordering online, however, at Persephone's Closet, no actual 'person' sees your credit card info-it is submitted electronically and is encrypted. Our credit card processor, Internet Secure, uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software for secure online commerce transactions- the industry standard and among the best software available today. It encrypts all your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet.
If you are still wary, we do accept money orders or certified cheque by mail.
What if I don't like what I ordered or the item doesn't fit? Do you have an exchange policy?

I haven't received an order/shipping confirmation email. Did my order go through?
The most common reason our customers don't receive emails from us is that the email address they have provided is incorrect or mistyped. Also, please check your 'junk' or 'spam' folder as our emails may be going there (to ensure delivery to your inbox, you can add info@persephones-closet.ca , orders@persephones-closet.ca or just the domain, @persephones-closet.ca to your 'allow list' )

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
The average time -from when you place your order to when you receive your package- is approximately 10 business days. Sometimes, a particular item may be on backorder. If this happens, we will notify you within 48 hours so you can decide whether to wait, cancel or substitute the item.
How will my order be shipped?
To destinations in Canada, items will be shipped via Canada Post XpressPost or Expedited (3 - 7days). For US orders, we ship Xpresspost USA (4 - 10 days). You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order is shipped.
